Privacy
Boardroom FC is a football management game played in private leagues. This page says what the game keeps about you, in plain words.
What we store
- Your username, your email address and whether it has been confirmed, and a hash of your password. The password itself is never stored and cannot be read back by anyone.
- Everything you do in a league: offers, signings, votes, messages in the league chat, and the results your club plays. That is the game; it is kept for as long as the league exists so the record is complete.
- A log of requests to the game, with your username on each line, kept for about four hundred days. It is used to run the game and to understand how it is played, never to advertise to you.
What we do not do
- No advertising, no tracking pixels, no analytics from third parties, and nothing is sold or shared.
- Email is sent for two reasons only: to confirm an address is yours, and to recover a forgotten password. The only third party that sees your address is the mail service that delivers those messages.
What you control
- Your email and password, from your account.
- Your membership of any league: you can leave one at any time, and its commissioner can remove you.
- Your account as a whole: ask and it is deleted, along with its email. The results your club played stay in the league's record, under the club's name.
